This month sees the launch of the new ISOTHERM website www.isotherm.co.za. It is beautifully designed, easy to use and packed with effective tools for consumers, architects, retailers, builders and installers. These tools include an online calculator which calculates the specification and amount of ISOTHERM needed for an area based on the building design and the required R Values for the climatic zone. The installer database offers easy access to accredited installers via map search. Application to become an accredited installer can also be made on the new website.
“Our online library is built to provide architects and building industry professionals access to a database of product specifications, proof of accreditations, tests, associations and endorsements as well as application and installation guides. It also offers insight into Brits Nonwoven’s manufacturing plants and processes and distribution logistics,” says Albert.
As part of ISTOHERM’s 360 degree online strategy, the new website is also supported by an active social media strategy incorporating Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Social media is fast becoming the preferred way in which millions of South Africans share information and connect with one another. According to Alexa, Facebook is South Africa’s 2nd most visited site (Google is no. 1) and Twitter is SA’s 6th most popular site. These online spaces provide individuals an immediate platform on which to question, research, share and comment on products, services, news, trends and more.
A current and undeniably future trend and area of interest is green living. In today’s day and age we are looking to make the most of the earth’s indispensible resources; recycling, repurposing and eco-friendly living, manufacturing and operating are becoming discerning factors when choosing best services and products.
Green in colour and in principle, ISOTHERM is one of the most effective thermal insulation products on the market. It is suitable for installation in ceilings, walls and around geysers and water pipes. ISOTHERM Thermal Insulation is made from recycled polymer derived from PET plastic (bottles and other packaging). ISOTHERM is also 100% recyclable. It is most certainly a product for the future and it communicates this in the most eco-friendly way possible; online.
“ISOTHERM now has dedicated Facebook (Get Green SA) and Twitter (GetGreenSA) profiles via which we engage with our clients, stakeholders and interested parties on the important aspects of energy efficiency and green building,” says Albert. The destination of all the engagement is ISOTHERM’s Get Green Blog (on the new ISOTHERM website) where fresh green information and eco friendly news is shared.
To save those precious minutes, hours and days and best deploy your time in the creative process and or the management of your business and or site, ISOTHERM’s new website is the only resource you need for all the facts on thermal insulation, the soon-to-be legislated energy efficient and green building standards and to connect with like-minded people.
