Installation
We recommend using a professional installer for the installation of ISOFOIL.

  • Measure accurately. Measure the distance between the roof beams or roof trusses and then select the correct roll of ISOTHERM.
  • When ISOFOIL insulation is compressed, it is easy to drill through. There is no winding of polyester fibre on the threads and points of the screws.
  • Therefore 'deck clips' are used that compress the insulation blanket down to just a few millimetres.
  • It's also easy to screw through ISOFOIL into timber. The screw completes just a few turns before fully seating into the timber. Very little winding of the fibre occurs.
  • A self-drilling screw consisting of a plastic sleeve held in place with wax has been developed for drilling into roof structures that have high ribbed profiles. This prevents the point of the screw from winding around the insulation during drilling.
